Image of London monster vampire character with Raven and '1863' on sash.
Screenprinted paste-up on Kraft paper following methods used in street art. Using thin absorbent paper soaked with glue or wheat paste sticks the print to the wall better.
A Serigraph is made by the Artist 'pulling' the print. A screenprint is commissioned by the Artist and the print made with their design.
January 10th 1863 marked the very first underground train journey made between Paddington and Farringdon in London. Reverend Cumming called the work of building an underground railway "to make roads down to hell." and "burrowing into the infernal regions." A trip on the central line in mid-summer will surely validate his argument.
